Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound corned beef
  • 8 slices rye bread
  • 8 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1 1/4 cups sauerkraut
  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon grated onion
  • 1 tablespoon prepared horseradish
  • 1 tablespoon Frank's Original RedHot Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon sweet paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • Vegetable oil or light olive oil for grilling

Instructions

  1. Prepare the dressing by whisking together mayonnaise, sour cream, ketchup, grated onion, horseradish, Frank's RedHot Sauce, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl.
  2. Warm corned beef in the microwave or stovetop to heat through; drain excess liquid.
  3. Assemble sandwiches: Butter one side of each slice of bread; spread dressing on the other side. Layer four slices with corned beef, sauerkraut, and Swiss cheese. Top with remaining bread slices (buttered side up).
  4. Grill in a nonstick or cast iron skillet over medium-low heat until golden brown (34 minutes per side), flipping carefully until cheese is melted.
  5. Serve hot with your favorite sides.
