  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 3 tablespoons gochujang paste
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare the sauce by mixing all ingredients in a bowl and set aside.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together cornstarch, flour, salt, and black pepper for the coating.
  3. Beat the eggs in a separate bowl for the egg wash.
  4. Heat canola oil in a deep frying pan over medium-high heat.
