  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 ounces cream cheese (room temperature)
  • 7 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1/4 cup bourbon
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 8 ounces toffee chips
  • 1/2 cup pecan pieces (chopped small)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350F (175C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
  3. In another bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add melted butter, bourbon, egg, and vanilla; mix well.
  4. Combine dry ingredients with wet ingredients until just blended. Fold in toffee chips and pecans.
  5. Chill the dough for at least two hours.
  6. Scoop dough onto prepared sheets about two inches apart.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes until slightly golden around the edges; cool on wire racks.
