  • 4 large sesame bagels
  • 7 oz cream cheese
  • 5 oz cooked bacon, cooled and diced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp sour cream
  • 1 tbsp chopped chives
  • 1 tsp hot sauce (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375F (190C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, bacon, cheddar cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, chives, hot sauce (if using), salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
  3. Slice bagels in half and spread the cream cheese mixture generously on each half.
  4. Place bagel halves on a baking sheet and bake for about 12 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving warm.
