  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • ¼ cup reserved pasta water
  • 1 egg (lightly beaten)

Instructions

  1. Boil the ramen noodles for 2–3 minutes without using the seasoning packet, then drain while reserving some pasta water.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and add minced garlic and red chili flakes. Sauté until fragrant.
  3. Stir in soy sauce and brown sugar; let it bubble until thickened.
  4. Add drained noodles to the skillet, tossing to coat evenly with the sauce. Use reserved pasta water if needed for consistency.
  5. Push noodles aside and add beaten egg to one side of the skillet, stirring quickly until cooked through.
