  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 onion (chopped)
  • 2 pounds lean ground beef
  • cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400F and prepare a loaf pan with nonstick spray.
  2. In a large bowl, combine all meatloaf ingredients: eggs, bread crumbs, onion, beef, milk, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, tomato paste, minced garlic.
  3. Mix until well combined; shape into a loaf and place in pan.
  4. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce; simmer until thickened.
  5. Pour half the sauce over the meatloaf and bake for 30 minutes.
  6. Add remaining sauce on top; bake for an additional 45 minutes until internal temperature reaches 160F.
  7. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
