  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/2 cup chopped bell peppers
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • Rice paper wrappers

Instructions

  1. Cook the lean ground beef in a frying pan over medium heat. Add soy sauce and hoisin sauce, stirring frequently until fully cooked (57 minutes).
  2. Stir in shredded carrots and chopped bell peppers; cook until tender (34 minutes) before removing from heat.
  3. Soak a rice paper wrapper in warm water for 1015 seconds until softened but still firm.
  4. On a clean surface, place the softened wrapper and add a spoonful of the beef mixture along with fresh basil leaves at one end. Fold over the sides and roll tightly.
  5. Repeat with remaining wrappers and serve fresh, optionally with dipping sauces like sweet chili or peanut sauce.
