  • 2 tablespoons Red Wine Vinegar

  • 2 tablespoons Granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Ground ginger
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons Warm water
  • 1 tablespoon Vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup Diced onion
  • 2 tablespoons Minced garlic
  • 1 pound Ground Turkey
  • 1 cup Broccoli (finely chopped)
  • 2 Large carrots (peeled and grated)
  • 2 Green onions (diced, for garnish)
  • 4 cups Cooked white or brown rice

Instructions

  1. Prepare the teriyaki sauce by mixing low-sodium soy sauce, water, vinegar, brown sugar, garlic, ground ginger, cornstarch mixed with warm water in a bowl. Set aside.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Saut diced onion until translucent; add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
  3. Add ground turkey to the skillet and cook until browned and fully cooked through.
  4. Stir in broccoli and grated carrots; cook until tender-crisp. Pour in the teriyaki sauce, allowing it to simmer and thicken.
