  • 1 beaten egg

  • 1/2 cup Italian-style bread crumbs
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter (for topping)
  • 3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

  2. Clean the mushrooms and remove the stems; chop the stems finely.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine chopped mushroom stems, melted butter, mozzarella cheese, clams, green onion, beaten egg, and garlic; mix well.
  4. Stir in breadcrumbs and oregano until the mixture is thick yet spreadable.
  5. Fill each mushroom cap generously with the stuffing and place them in a baking dish.
  6. Drizzle melted butter over the stuffed mushrooms and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
