  • 1 1/2 cups dark chocolate chips

  • 1/4 cup dark brown sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp espresso powder (optional)
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 package candy eyes
  • 20 oz semi-sweet or milk chocolate chips (for coating)
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 23 tbsp heavy cream (to thin)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350F. Line a 9 x 9 inch cake pan with parchment paper.
  2. Melt butter and dark chocolate in the microwave until smooth.
  3. Whisk in sugar, then beat in eggs until frothy. Combine wet and dry ingredients.
  4. Spread batter into the prepared pan and bake for 2530 minutes.
  5. Once cooled, dip brownies in melted semi-sweet chocolate for coating.
