  • 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Marinate the beef: In a mixing bowl, combine 3 tablespoons of soy sauce, oyster sauce, ginger, garlic, and sesame oil. Toss the beef strips in the marinade and let sit for 1015 minutes.
  2. Cook onions: Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Saut onions until soft and caramelized; season with salt and pepper.
  3. Sear beef: In the same skillet on high heat, add another 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil and stir-fry marinated beef for about 23 minutes until browned.
