  • cup unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • cup honey
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoons cinnamon
  • Fleur de Sel for topping

Instructions

  1. In a stand mixer bowl, cream together butter, oil, brown sugar, and honey until smooth.
  2. Add the egg and vanilla; mix until fully combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Gradually add to the wet ingredients until mixed.
  4. Chill the dough for about 1 hours.
  5. Preheat oven to 350F (175C). Scoop dough onto parchment-lined baking sheets.
  6. Bake for about 10 minutes or until edges are golden. Sprinkle with fleur de sel immediately after baking.
  7. Allow cooling before transferring to a wire rack.
