  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

Instructions

  1. Prepare the mashed potatoes by boiling peeled, cubed potatoes in salted water until tender (1520 minutes).
  2. In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, grated onion, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper until combined.
  3. Shape into 1 -inch meatballs and brown in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. In the same skillet, make gravy by cooking sliced onions in butter, adding flour, then gradually whisking in beef broth and seasonings.
  5. Return meatballs to the skillet and simmer in gravy for 1015 minutes.
  6. Mash cooked potatoes with butter, warm milk, garlic, parsley, thyme, and salt until smooth.
