  • 3/4 cup whole milk
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter (softened)

  • 2 and 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh rosemary (or dried)
  • 3/4 cup shredded cheese (parmesan, mozzarella, or your choice)

Instructions

  1. In a stand mixer bowl, combine yeast and sugar; add warm milk and let sit until frothy (5-10 minutes).
  2. Mix in soft butter, egg, flour, salt, garlic powder, and rosemary until dough forms.
  3. Knead for about 5 minutes until smooth; let rise in a greased bowl covered with plastic wrap until doubled in size (6090 minutes).
  4. Prepare filling by mixing softened butter with herbs and garlic; grease your loaf pan.
  5. Divide risen dough into pieces, flatten each, spread filling, sprinkle cheese, fold, and arrange in the pan.
  6. Bake at 350F (175C) for about 2530 minutes or until golden brown.
