Fruit salsa with pie crust chips is a refreshing and vibrant treat perfect for any occasion. This delightful dish combines juicy strawberries, kiwi, and mango, all accented with a splash of lime juice, served alongside crisp, homemade pie crust chips sprinkled with cinnamon sugar.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 1 medium kiwi, peeled and diced
  • 1 ripe mango, diced
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 12 tbsp sugar (optional)
  • 2 pre-made pie crusts
  • 2 tbsp cinnamon-sugar mixture (for sprinkling)

Instructions

  1. Wash and chop the strawberries, kiwi, and mango into bite-sized pieces.
  2. In a large bowl, combine chopped fruits. Add lime juice and optional sugar; gently toss to mix.
  3. Preheat oven to 350F (175C). Roll out pie crusts on a floured surface and cut into triangles or strips.
  4. Place pie crust pieces on a lined baking sheet. Sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar mixture and bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Allow chips to cool slightly before serving alongside the fruit salsa.
