  • 2 jars marinara sauce (2325 ounces each)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup minced yellow onion
  • 2 pounds ground chicken
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pour half of the marinara sauce into a slow cooker.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, onion, garlic, parsley, salt, oregano, and pepper.
  3. Gently mix in ground chicken until just combined; form into 1-inch meatballs.
  4. Place meatballs in the slow cooker on top of the sauce and pour remaining sauce over them.
  5. Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours. If desired, add mozzarella cheese during the last 15 minutes of cooking.
