  • 6 cups fresh peaches (peeled and sliced)
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 large egg
  • 1½ tablespoons cornstarch
  • Fresh lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×13 baking pan by lining it with foil or parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine sugar, flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Cut in cold butter until crumbly.
  3. Press half of the mixture firmly into the prepared pan as the crust.
  4. In another bowl, mix together sliced peaches with sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, and cinnamon until coated.
  5. Spread peach filling over the crust and sprinkle reserved crumbs on top.
  6. Bake for about 45 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool before slicing.
