  • 3 large firm peaches
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cups unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • cup buttermilk
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoons cinnamon
  • teaspoon salt
  • tsp EACH nutmeg, ground cloves
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups powdered sugar, sifted
  • 4 oz. cream cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 23 tablespoons milk
  • Chopped pecans
  • Cinnamon sprinkling

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350F (175C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In one bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, and spices; set aside.
  3. In another bowl, cream butter and sugars until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time followed by vanilla.
  4. Combine buttermilk and chopped peaches in a separate bowl.
