  • 1 package blue jello (3 oz.)
  • 1 tub frozen whipped topping (8 oz.)
  • 1 cups boiling water (divided)
  • 1 cup cold water (divided)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven as per cake mix instructions. Bake the cake in a greased 13×9-inch pan and let it cool completely.
  2. Poke holes in the cooled cake every inch using a wooden spoon handle.
  3. In separate bowls, dissolve each jello flavor in boiling water, then stir in cold water.
  4. Fill alternating holes with red jello first, then fill remaining holes with blue jello.
