  • 34 pounds baby back ribs
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 3 teaspoons chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons seasoning salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • teaspoon onion powder
  • teaspoon black pepper
  • cup barbecue sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 300F (150C).
  2. Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine brown sugar, chili powder, seasoning salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
  4. Rub the seasoning mix generously over both sides of the ribs.
  5. Wrap the seasoned ribs tightly in aluminum foil and place on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 2-3 hours until tender.
  7. Brush with BBQ sauce and broil at 475F (245C) for an additional 3-4 minutes for a crispy finish.
