  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cubed
  • 8 oz short pasta (penne or rotini)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season steak cubes with salt, pepper, and 1 tablespoon of Cajun seasoning. Sear for about 3–4 minutes until browned; remove from skillet.
  2. In the same skillet, sauté onion for 2–3 minutes until soft. Add garlic and cook for another minute.
  3. Stir in sliced bell peppers and cook until softened (3–4 minutes).
  4. Pour in beef broth, bring to a simmer, then add pasta. Cook according to package instructions (8–10 minutes) until al dente.
  5. Reduce heat; mix in heavy cream, remaining Cajun seasoning, and Parmesan cheese until creamy. Return steak to skillet and combine thoroughly.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
