  • 1 lb ground beef (85% lean)
  • 1 small yellow onion (diced)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 (16 oz.) box elbow macaroni (uncooked)
  • ¾ cup sour cream
  • ½ cup whole milk

  1. Shred cheddar cheese and set aside.

  3. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
  4. Stir in Worcestershire sauce and tomato paste.
  5. Mix in beef broth and uncooked macaroni; bring to a simmer.
  6. Cover and cook until pasta is al dente, stirring occasionally.
  7. Lower heat, then stir in sour cream and half the milk until smooth.
  8. Gradually add shredded cheese, stirring until melted.
  9. Top with remaining cheese; cover and heat until melted.
