  • 36 cubes mozzarella cheese
  • 2 lb lean ground beef
  • 2 large eggs (lightly beaten)
  • 2/3 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 onion (shredded)
  • 6 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tsp chili flakes
  • 2 tbsp dried oregano
  • 2 tbsp dried basil
  • 2 tbsp dried parsley
  • 1 tube store-bought pizza dough
  • Marinara sauce (for dipping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375F. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together ground beef, eggs, bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, onion, garlic, salt, chili flakes, oregano, basil, and parsley until just combined.
  3. Form the mixture into 36 meatballs, placing one cube of mozzarella inside each.
  4. Roll out the pizza dough and cut it into long strips. Wrap each meatball in the dough.
  5. Skewer three wrapped meatballs onto each wooden skewer.
  6. Brush garlic butter over the skewers and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Serve warm with marinara sauce.
