  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • cup pure maple syrup
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • tsp baking soda
  • tsp salt
  • 1 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp pure maple syrup (for glaze)
  • 12 tbsp milk (as needed for glaze consistency)
  • 1 tbsp melted butter (for glaze)
  • Pinch of salt (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, cream the softened butter and brown sugar until fluffy.
  2. Mix in the egg, vanilla extract, and maple syrup until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt; gradually add to the wet mixture until just combined.
