  • 250 g Dark chocolate
  • 200 g Milk chocolate
  • 200 g Butter or baking spread
  • 150 g Golden syrup
  • 100 g Malted milk or digestive biscuits (broken)
  • 75 g Mini marshmallows (gelatine-free if vegetarian)
  • 200 g Maltesers
  • 75 g Malteser Teasers or Buttons (optional)

Instructions

  1. Line an 8" square tin with baking paper.
  2. In a saucepan, melt together butter, golden syrup, dark chocolate, and milk chocolate on low heat. Cool for about 10 minutes.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine broken biscuits, mini marshmallows, and Maltesers.
  4. Pour two-thirds of the melted chocolate mixture into the bowl and stir well.
  5. Transfer to the lined tin, smoothing down firmly before adding remaining chocolate on top.
  6. Sprinkle with extra Maltesers if desired.
  7. Chill in the fridge for at least 3-4 hours or overnight until set.
  8. Cut into squares and serve.
