  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup creamy or crunchy peanut butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350F (175C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat melted butter with granulated sugar and brown sugar until fluffy. Add the egg and mix well.
  4. Gradually fold in dry ingredients until combined.
  5. Scoop half of the dough into another bowl and mix in peanut butter until well blended.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of both doughs onto the prepared baking sheet and swirl gently with a toothpick.
  7. Bake for about 10-12 minutes until edges are set.
