  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 3 tbsp sriracha sauce
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (divided)
  • 1 tsp sesame oil (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Sesame seeds and sliced green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Whisk together honey, sriracha, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and optional sesame oil in a small bowl. Set aside.
  2. Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Saut broccoli for 3-4 minutes until tender; remove from skillet.
  3. Add remaining oil and ground chicken to the skillet; season with salt and pepper. Cook for 56 minutes until browned.
  4. Stir in garlic and cook for another 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the sauce mixture and simmer for 23 minutes until slightly thickened.
  6. Return broccoli to the skillet, gently mixing everything together.
  7. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.
