  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon minced ginger

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Slice zucchinis into half-inch square sticks and cut the onion into quarters, then slice.
  2. Preheat a saut pan or wok over medium-high heat. Add vegetable oil until shimmering.
  3. Saut onions for about 2 minutes until softened.
  4. Add minced garlic and ginger; stir for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Add zucchini sticks; cook for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally until lightly browned.
  6. Pour in soy sauce and sesame oil; season with salt, black pepper, and sesame seeds. Saut for another minute until tender-crisp.
