  • 4 large croissants
  • 8 slices of deli ham
  • 4 slices of Swiss cheese
  • 2 tablespoons of butter (room temperature)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350F (175C).
  2. Slice each croissant in half lengthwise without cutting all the way through.
  3. Spread a thin layer of butter on the inside of each croissant.
  4. Layer two slices of ham and one slice of Swiss cheese inside each croissant.
  5. Brush the tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.
  6. Place the croissants on a baking sheet and bake for about 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and the croissants are warm and crispy.
