  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Peel and dice the sweet potatoes into small cubes.
  3. Add olive oil to the skillet and brown the ground beef until fully cooked; remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, cook diced sweet potatoes for about 5 minutes until they soften.
  5. Add chopped onion and minced garlic; cook for an additional 23 minutes until fragrant.
  6. Stir in cumin, smoked paprika, chili powder, salt, and black pepper; mix well.
  7. Return the beef to the skillet along with beef broth; combine thoroughly.
  8. Cover and simmer for about 1015 minutes until sweet potatoes are tender.
  9. Adjust seasoning if needed; garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
