  • cup molasses
  • cup dark brown sugar (packed)

  • 1 cup powdered sugar

  3. In another bowl, mix cold butter, molasses, and brown sugar until smooth.
  4. Beat in the egg and gradually add milk until combined.
  5. Fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture using a spatula.
  6. Pour batter into the baking dish and bake for about 45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. For frosting, beat cream cheese and softened butter; gradually mix in powdered sugar and additional molasses.
