Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package puff pastry (about 17 oz/500g)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour (for dusting)
  • Optional: 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375F (190C). Grease a muffin tin or line it with paper liners.
  2. Lightly flour a surface, then unroll and roll out the puff pastry to about 1/8-inch thickness.
  3. In a bowl, combine granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt for the filling.
  4. Brush melted butter over the pastry and sprinkle generously with the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  5. Cut the pastry into strips (about 2-3 inches wide), roll each strip tightly into a spiral, and place them upright in the muffin tin.
  6. Brush tops with remaining melted butter and sprinkle any leftover cinnamon-sugar mixture on top.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and puffed up.
  8. Allow to cool for about 5 minutes in the tin before transferring to a wire rack.
