  • cup olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, smashed
  • teaspoon thyme leaves
  • 5 ounces goat cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic/thyme oil, from the toasted crostini
  • ? teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 ounces prosciutto, cut in half lengthwise
  • cup fig jam
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Black pepper, to finish (optional)
  • Fresh thyme, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425F (220C).
  2. Slice the baguette into -inch pieces and place on a baking sheet.
  3. Mix olive oil with smashed garlic cloves and thyme leaves; brush over each slice.
  4. Bake for about 10 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Spread goat cheese on each slice, drizzle with fig jam, and top with prosciutto.
  6. Finish with a drizzle of honey and garnish with fresh thyme.
