  • 1 large English cucumber
  • 8 slices of soft white or whole wheat bread
  • 4 oz cream cheese (plain or flavored)
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill (or preferred herbs)

Instructions

  1. Trim crusts off the bread slices if desired.
  2. In a bowl, mix cream cheese with fresh dill until smooth.
  3. Spread the cream cheese mixture generously onto one side of each bread slice.
  4. Thinly slice the cucumber (1/8 inch thick) and layer on half of the cream cheese-spread slices.
