  • 2 large chicken breasts
  • Salt & pepper
  • Garlic powder
  • Flour (for dredging)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons butter (divided)
  • 8 ounces cremini mushrooms (sliced fairly thin)
  • 1 large clove garlic (minced)
  • 3/4 cup marsala wine
  • 1/2 cup heavy/whipping cream

Instructions

  1. Slice chicken breasts in half lengthwise to create cutlets. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder; dredge in flour.
  2. Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown; set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add remaining butter and mushrooms; saut until browned.
  4. Add minced garlic and marsala wine to the skillet; simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Stir in heavy cream; return chicken to skillet and simmer until cooked through (4-5 minutes). Adjust seasoning before serving.
