  • ¼ c honey
  • ¼ c Dijon mustard
  • 2 Tbsp butter (melted)
  • 23 garlic cloves (minced)
  • ¼ c heavy cream
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ¼ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • ½ tsp salt
  • optional: 2 Tbsp corn starch and 4 T cold water

Instructions

  1. Pat chicken dry and season with salt, pepper, oregano, onion powder, and paprika.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together honey, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, and melted butter until smooth.
  3. Pour the sauce over the seasoned chicken in the slow cooker.
  4. Cover and cook on LOW for about 3 hours or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  5. Shred the chicken when done; stir in heavy cream about 30 minutes before serving.
  6. Optional: Thicken sauce using cornstarch mixed with cold water if desired.
