  • 1.5 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 10.5 ounce can cream of chicken soup
  • ¾ cup chicken broth
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 packet Good Seasons Dry Italian Salad Dressing Mix
  • 16 ounce box angel hair pasta

Instructions

  1. Sear chicken: Heat vegetable oil in a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper and sear each side for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  2. Prepare sauce: In a medium bowl, whisk together cream cheese and butter until smooth. Add cream of chicken soup, minced garlic, chicken broth, and Italian dressing mix; whisk until fully combined.
  3. Combine in Crock Pot: Spray the inside of the Crock Pot with non-stick cooking spray. Place seared chicken breasts at the bottom and pour the sauce mixture over them.
  4. Cook: Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  5. Cook pasta: Shortly before serving, prepare angel hair pasta according to package instructions. Drain when done.
