  • teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425F (220C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
  2. Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels and place them in a large bowl. Toss with olive oil until evenly coated.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together all the spices: paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper (if using), and baking powder.
  4. Sprinkle the dry rub over the wings and toss until fully coated.
  5. Arrange the wings in a single layer on the wire rack set over the baking sheet and bake for 40-45 minutes, turning halfway through until golden brown and crispy.
