  • 2 pounds thin sliced chicken breasts
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon seasoned salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce
  • 2 cups panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup light oil, like light olive oil, canola oil, or vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Trim and pat dry the chicken breasts to remove excess moisture.
  2. Set up three shallow bowls: combine flour and seasoned salt in one, whisk eggs and hot sauce in another, and mix breadcrumbs with garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and Parmesan in the last.
  3. Dip each chicken breast into the flour mixture, then the egg mixture, followed by coating it in the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat until it reaches 350°F.
  5. Fry each cutlet for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  6. Drain on paper towels before serving.
