  • 2 celery stalks, diced
  • 4 cups low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cups uncooked ditalini pasta

  2. In the same pot, add onion, carrot, and celery; saut until softened. Add garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  3. Pour in chicken broth and diced tomatoes; stir well and simmer for 10-15 minutes.
  4. Add ditalini pasta; simmer until tender (about 10-12 minutes).
  5. Reduce heat to low; stir in heavy cream and Parmesan until smooth.
  6. Return the sausage to the pot; mix well and simmer for another 5 minutes before serving.
