  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp sweet paprika
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 150ml heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • 300g frozen or fresh French fries

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 220°C (430°F). Spread fries on a baking tray in a single layer and bake for 18-22 minutes until golden brown.
  2. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and paprika. In a skillet over medium-high heat, melt butter with olive oil. Add chicken and cook until browned (6-8 minutes), then set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté onion and garlic for about 2-3 minutes until softened.
  4. Stir in tomato paste and remaining paprika; cook for an additional minute. Add heavy cream and simmer for 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Return chicken to the skillet; simmer for another 2-3 minutes to combine flavors.
  6. Serve by placing crispy fries on a plate topped with creamy chicken mixture and garnish with fresh parsley.
