  • 1/2 cup chopped dried cranberries
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for coating)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and powdered sugar until light.
  2. Mix in the vanilla extract and salt until combined.
  3. Gradually add flour and orange zest, mixing until well blended.
  4. Fold in the chopped dried cranberries.
  5. Chill the dough wrapped in cling film for one hour.
  6. Preheat oven to 350F (180C). Shape dough into 1-inch balls and place on a lined baking tray.
  7. Bake for about 15 minutes or until slightly golden on the bottoms.
  8. Cool slightly, then roll warm cookies in powdered sugar and roll again when completely cooled.
