  • cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • cup crushed chocolate sandwich cookies (like Oreos)
  • cup mini chocolate chips
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 23 tablespoons milk (adjust for consistency)
  • cup crushed chocolate cookies
  • Extra mini chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk and yeast; let sit until foamy. Add sugar, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla.
  2. Mix in flour and salt until combined; knead until slightly sticky. Add blue food coloring, knead until evenly mixed.
  3. Place in a greased bowl and let rise until doubled (1 to 1 hours).
  4. For the filling, mix softened butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, crushed cookies, and chocolate chips.
  5. Roll out dough into a rectangle; spread filling evenly. Roll tightly from one long side and slice into 12 rolls.
  6. Place rolls in a greased baking dish; cover and let rise again (3045 minutes). Preheat oven to 350F (175C) and bake for 2025 minutes.
  7. For icing, beat cream cheese and butter; gradually add powdered sugar and milk to reach desired consistency.
  8. Drizzle icing over warm rolls and top with crushed cookies before serving.
