  • 3 ripe bananas (mashed)
  • cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg (beaten)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • cup brown sugar (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350F (175C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix mashed bananas, melted butter, granulated sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  4. Gradually fold the dry mixture into the wet ingredients using a rubber spatula until just combined.
  5. Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan and sprinkle brown sugar on top.
  6. Bake for 55-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Let cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
