  • 10 ounces cooked, shredded chicken breast
  • 4 ounces cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 tablespoon salted butter (softened)
  • 1/2 tablespoon dried chives
  • 1/2 tablespoon dried minced onion
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 can (8 ounces) refrigerated Pillsbury crescent roll dough
  • 1/4 cup salted butter (melted) for coating
  • 1/2 cup Italian breadcrumbs for topping
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup for gravy
  • 1 packet chicken gravy mix for gravy
  • 3/4 cup water for gravy

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350F and prepare a baking sheet with non-stick spray.
  2. In a mixing bowl, blend cream cheese and butter. Stir in shredded chicken, chives, onion, salt, and pepper.
  3. Unroll crescent dough and press triangles together to form rectangles. Fill each rectangle with the chicken mixture and seal tightly.
  4. Dip each pillow in melted butter, then coat with breadcrumbs. Place on the baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 22-25 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Meanwhile, prepare the gravy by mixing cream of chicken soup and gravy mix with water in a saucepan until heated.
