  • ½ lb small or medium pasta shells
  • 1 ½ cups half and half
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ½ chicken bouillon cube
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce
  • 1 teaspoon mustard powder
  • ½ teaspoon EACH: onion powder, garlic powder, parsley
  • ¼ teaspoon EACH: paprika, pepper
  • 12 tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ cup dry white wine
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons flour

Instructions

  1. Combine sauce ingredients in a measuring cup; set aside.
  2. Boil salted water for pasta.
  3. Slice chicken thinly, pound to ½ inch thickness, season.
  4. Sear chicken in olive oil until golden; rest and cut into pieces.
  5. Deglaze skillet with wine; reduce by half.
  6. Make roux with butter and flour; gradually add sauce mixture while stirring.
