  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ cups milk
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 8 oz shredded provolone cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare all ingredients by slicing vegetables and keeping beef strips ready.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté beef until browned (about 5-7 minutes). Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté onions and bell peppers until softened (4-5 minutes), then add garlic and cook for another minute.
  4. Stir in flour to coat vegetables before gradually adding milk and beef broth. Simmer until thickened (3-4 minutes), then mix in provolone cheese until melted.

  6. Adjust seasoning if necessary and serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
