  • 2 (3.4 oz) Boxes Instant French Vanilla Pudding Mix
  • 4 Cups Milk
  • 16 oz. Cool Whip
  • 8 oz. Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • 1/2 Cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 tsp. Instant Coffee
  • Pinch Sea Salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare the yellow cake according to package instructions and let it cool completely.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together pudding mix and milk until smooth. Gently fold in cup of Cool Whip.
  3. For the ganache, melt chocolate chips and heavy cream over a double boiler, stirring until smooth; add instant coffee and sea salt.
  4. Cut cooled cake into squares. In a trifle bowl, layer cake squares, pudding mixture, and ganache evenly three times.
  5. Top with remaining Cool Whip and refrigerate until ready to serve.
