  • 5 tablespoons salted butter (softened)
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 5 ounces cream cheese
  • 5 tablespoons unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1 tablespoon corn syrup
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • cup blackberry filling (reserved from filling)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the blackberry filling by cooking blackberries, sugar, cornstarch, salt, and warm water in a saucepan until thickened. Cool before using.
  2. Activate the yeast by mixing it with warm water and sugar; let it sit until frothy.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together warmed milk, melted butter, yogurt, egg, salt, vanilla pudding mix, and activated yeast mixture.
  4. Gradually add flour until a soft dough forms. Knead on a floured surface for about five minutes until smooth.
  5. Let the dough rise in an oiled bowl covered with plastic wrap until doubled in size (about one hour).
  6. Roll out the dough into a rectangle, spread the blackberry filling evenly across it, then roll up tightly and cut into rolls.
  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 350F (175C) for about 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Prepare the frosting by mixing softened cream cheese, butter, corn syrup, vanilla, salt, and powdered sugar until smooth.
