  • 10 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 24 ounces cream cheese
  • cup white granulated sugar
  • cup salted caramel sauce
  • 4 large eggs
  • Spices: ground cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves

Instructions

  1. Prepare the apple filling by cooking cubed apples with butter, brown sugar, spices, and lemon juice until soft. Set aside to cool.
  2. Make the crust by combining graham cracker crumbs with brown sugar and melted butter; press into a springform pan.
  3. Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth, then mix in sour cream, caramel, vanilla, and eggs.
  4. Layer half the cheesecake batter over the crust, add cooled apple filling, then top with remaining batter.
  5. Bake at 325F (160C) for about 70 minutes until set but slightly jiggly in the center.
